Has anyone ever wondered why cardio machines are equipped with heart rate monitors and ask you for your age? I’m sure you’ve figured that it probably has something to do with factoring in the calories burned during your workout, but what if I told you there was so much more to it than that.

Through out college I worked as a wellness coach and during that time I realized how much false information and lies surrounded the health and wellness industry. I currently work for a sports clinic in the Houston area, and I continue to see those around me struggle to sift out the correct information from the crap that surrounds us .
